Whitehead Volunteer Fire Department

This department provides fire suppression services to approximately 60 square kilometres of the Municipality.  Also, Whitehead responds to medical calls to assist EHS.  Currently, they are in the process of amalgamating with Islandview Volunteer Fire Department to create a new fire district.  As a result, construction is starting on a new hall as well as plans are being drawn up for a new tanker truck.

Current Hall Location:  Whitehead, 626 Whitehead Road
New Hall Location:       Intersection of Highway 316 and Whitehead Road.
