Islandview Volunteer Fire Department

This department provides fire suppression services to approximately 25 square kilometres of the Municipality.  Also, Islandview responds to medical calls to assist EHS.  Currently, they are in the process of amalgamating with Whitehead Volunteer Fire Department to create a new fire district.  As a result, construction is starting on a new hall as well as plans are being drawn up for a new tanker truck.

Current Hall Location:  Port Felix, 168 Port Felix Loop
New Hall Location:       Intersection of Highway 316 and Whitehead Road.
